Consider/Approve Bid for Dark Fiber

Background Information :

In addition to advertising, we solicited bids for an indefeasible right to use dark fiber connection (specifications attached). We received bids from two (2) companies, which are summarized on the bid request tally sheet. Individual bids were as follows:

Gibson Electric – $159,000.00

ENA – $185,400.00

Staff Recommendation:

I recommend approval of the lowest bid that meets all the specifications.
